Roxana Phillips is a devoted advocate for mental health and community transformation.
A proud native of Burlington, North Carolina, Roxana combines her deep faith with extensive clinical expertise to serve individuals and families, helping them navigate life’s challenges with resilience and grace.
Academic & Clinical Background
Roxana holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from UNC-Greensboro, a Master of Science in Adult Education from North Carolina A&T State University, and a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling from Winston-Salem State University.
As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and the owner of Serene Counseling and Wellness PLLC, she specializes in supporting adults and adolescents through trauma recovery and behavior modification.
Her clinical philosophy is rooted in the belief that healing is both a professional and spiritual journey.
Mission & Community Impact
As the Executive Director of the Koinonia Hub, Roxana is passionate about building a stronger, more sustainable community. She is the architect of the M.A.T.H. (Mindset, Attitude, Thought, Habit) character education curriculum, a program designed to foster lasting positive behavioral changes.
Furthermore, she leads the hub’s food sustainability initiatives, working tirelessly to ensure that families throughout Reidsville and Rockingham County have access to nutritious, consistent support.

Driven by a heart to see others restored, she balances her professional work with her role in ministry alongside her husband, Pastor Dana Phillips. Together, they strive to cultivate a community where every individual is empowered to grow, heal, and thrive.
